In response to the earthquake in Nepal, we are seeking applications for volunteers interest in rebuilding and/or repairing existing schools, community buildings or water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities. Given that the recovery from this earthquake will take some time, some project work will be in constructing sturdy semi-permanent structures for use while the government finalises plans for permanent buildings.  Phase 2 will be focussing on rebuilding/repairing schools.

As the situation on the ground is constantly changing, we ask that volunteers be flexible and adaptable when applying for this program. Living facilities will be in a basic home stay or in a volunteer camp and placements are rural and remote. As such, a positive attitude, good physical fitness and a willingness to muck in as and where needed is required for this program.
